William F. 'Bill' Pattison, 90

William F. “Bill” Pattison, 90, passed away June 19, 2010, at his residence in Wickenburg, Ariz. Bill was born and raised in Los Angeles, Calif., Oct. 2, 1919, to Andrew Pattison and Mildred Skillman Pattison.

He attended schools there and later attended U.C.L.A. prior to serving in the U.S. Navy where he served as a Navy Pilot during WWII and the Korean war as well as flying as a civilian in the Vietnam war. After his military service Bill returned home and began a career as a commercial pilot for Flying Tigers.

Bill retired to Coeur d’Alene where they lived for several years prior to moving to Wickenburg in 1987. Bill was also an avid golfer and Ham radio operator. Family was the most important thing in Bill’s life, he was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma in 2002.

Bill is survived by children: Lisa Prosser (Dave) of Gardenerville, Nev., Linda Erickson (Mike) of Richfield, Wash., Laurie Morgan of Spokane, Wash., and Ann Sheridan of Wickenburg; grandchildren, Jess, Andy, Heidi, Shane, Derek, Dominik, Raechel, Molly and Willy; great-grandchildren, Silas, Jayleigh, Chyanna, Brayden, Kimber, Tutu, Ruger and Paislee.
