Catch July 4 booms from the Boardwalk

| June 29, 2010 6:07 AM

The Boardwalk Marina will hold a limited amount of people for Sunday’s 4th of July fireworks show over Lake Coeur d’Alene.

Only 400 people will be allowed on the Boardwalk after 7:30 p.m. There is no charge for access.

“The restriction is for everyone’s safety,” said Jerry Jaeger, president and co-owner of Hagadone Hospitality. “For this popular vantage point, we limit entry on a first-come, first-served basis beginning in the early evening.”

Chairs, fireworks and alcoholic beverages will not be permitted on the Boardwalk, he said. Benches and tables are available.

Boat owners in the Boardwalk Marina will have full access anytime.
