Indians' struggles continue

SPOKANE - Chris Sorce struck out six over six innings as the Everett AquaSox defeated the Spokane Indians 6-2 in front of 4,808 in a Northwest League baseball game Saturday night at Avista Stadium.

Kevin Mailloux went 2 for 4 with a run as the AquaSox improved to 9-1 on the season. Forrest Snow had three strikeouts in three scoreless innings for Everett to earn his first save of the year.

Brett Nichols had a two-run single in the first inning for Spokane, which drops to 1-8. Zack Osborne allowed three earned runs in three innings to take the loss for Spokane.

The teams continue their five-game series tonight at 6:30.
