HR in 10th lifts Canadians past Indians

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - A.J. Kirby-Jones hit a solo home run over the right field fence to move the Vancouver Canadians past the Spokane Indians 5-4 in 10 innings in Northwest League baseball in front of 3,090 at Scotiabank Field at Nat Bailey Stadium on Thursday.

Guillermo Pimentel hit a two-run double to left to score Andrew Clark and Michael Olt in a four-run sixth inning for Spokane (1-4). Kevin Johnson took the loss for Spokane.

Pedro Vidal pitched three scoreless inning of relief for the win.

Gernaldo Castillo hit a two-run double to right field to open the Canadians' (3-3) scoring in the seventh.

The teams conclude their five-game series today at 1:05 p.m.
