Delmar James Kitchen, 68

Delmar James Kitchen, 68, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on June 18, 2010. He died peacefully in his home in Pinecreek after a long battle with cancer. Delmar was born one children on Nov. 17, 1941, in to Elmer and Evelyn.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Donna of 42 years; his mother and father; his brother’s, Dewellyn and Dwight and his sister, Dorothy.

He is survived by his wife, Judy of six years, who cared loving and diligently for him the last years of his life; his children Dawn, Pinecreek, Darren, Coeur d’Alene, David, Pinecreek; his stepchildren, Kim Janssen, Spokane, Chay Heilman, Coulee City, Wash., Josh Schneider, N.C.; his sisters, Delila Wild, Osburn, Delta Kirpes, Lake Stevens, Wash., Darlene Butts, Troy, Ala., Pamela Kirpes, Seattle; stepbrother, Skip Archer, Coeur d’Alene; his 12 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 2, 2010, at Mountain View Congregational Church in Kellogg.

The family would love to express their sincere thanks to Hospice of North Idaho for their tender loving care of Delmar in his final days.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Delmar’s name to Hospice of North Idaho or Cancer Association.
