| June 21, 2010 9:00 PM

For the 14th consecutive year, the Coeur d'Alene School District has earned a "What Parents Want" designation from SchoolMatch.

SchoolMatch is an independent, nationwide service that maintains information on every public school system and helps corporate employee families find schools that match the needs of their children.

This year, the Ohio-based firm recognized 2,407 of the nation's 15,571 public school systems (approximately 16 percent). Twelve of Idaho's 115 districts were on the list.

In 2009, more than seven million parents and homebuyers across the country accessed SchoolMatch through a variety of website locations including national, regional and local real estate firms, multiple listing services, chambers of commerce and economic development offices.
