Vijil shines as Shock

SPOKANE - Raul Vijil had 11 catches for 103 yards and seven touchdowns as the Spokane Shock won their fifth straight game, 63-42 over the Tulsa Talons in Arena Football League action Friday night before 10,077 on Spokane Tribe Field at Spokane Arena.

Kyle Rowley was 28 of 37 for 307 yards and seven touchdowns passing and one rushing with an interception for Spokane (8-2), which travels to Milwaukee next Saturday.

Tulsa (6-5) quarterback Justin Allgood was sacked by Spokane defensive lineman Jerry Turner, forcing a fumble which was recovered by Shock cornerback William Mulder with four minutes remaining

Spokane defensive back Antwan Marsh intercepted an Allgood pass at the Shock 21-yard line with 9:10 remaining to hinder a late Talon rally.
