Police say helicopter pilot dies in central Idaho crash

BOISE (AP) - Authorities say one person was killed when a logging helicopter crashed near the central Idaho town of Donnelly

The Valley County Sheriff's office said the crash occurred Wednesday afternoon in the mountains west of Donnelly.

The identity of the victim has not yet been released, but officials say the pilot was the only person inside the helicopter when it went down.

Investigators are still trying to determine what caused the crash.
