Phyllis P. Cooper-Siroshton, 64

| June 16, 2010 5:09 AM

Passed from this life to eternity with Christ on June 13, 2010, after a battle with cancer.

Phyllis was born April 27, 1946, in Aberdeen, S.D., to Theodore A. and Mary R. Cooper.

She attended school in Aberdeen and later graduated from Stewart Schools of Hair Styling.

She moved to Oakes, N.D., in 1986, and then to the Coeur d’Alene area in 1989, where she has resided since.

Phyllis was known as being a wonderful caretaker, as she worked years as a nursing assistant. She will also be remembered as being the life of the party, where she always brought along her contagious laughter.

She lived for her two daughters and five grandchildren, who adored their Nana.

Survivors include her husband, James A. Siroshton of Athol; daughters Sarah M. Brumbaugh of Athol and Rebecca L. Pemberton of Spirit Lake; five brothers, William Cooper, Spencer Cooper and Gerald Cooper, all of Aberdeen, Frank Cooper of Hastings, Minn., and Leonard Cooper of Bourbonais, Ill.; one sister Jo Ann Forcier of Remsen, Iowa, and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Thank you to the wonderful staff of Applegate Hospice, Coeur d’Alene, for their loving care of our mother.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, June 18, 2010, at Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens.
