MOM: Proud of legally blind daughter

Thank you so much for featuring my daughter, Arleen Fish, in your newspaper June 8.

Needless to say, our entire family is so proud of Arleen and all of her achievements throughout her life.

She has been a joy to raise and a great friend as an adult. She is loyal and has a great work attitude. She never gives up, even when it came to being 15 years old and telling me she was going snow skiing! I wanted to tell her no way, but . . .

Then came 16 and she informed me she was going water skiing with friends. I knew then I had a tiger by the tail.

There is nothing she would not try, and almost never accepts failure. Yes, she is one of a kind and I am so proud to call her my daughter.
