SALUTE: Touched by ceremony

I would like to thank the Marine Corps League Pappy Boyington Detachment 966 and the Marine Corps League Auxiliary and all the volunteers for once again putting on an outstanding Memorial Day Salute at the Coeur d'Alene Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

I have attended this ceremony many times over the years and you consistently do a wonderful job. I was blessed to be joined this year by my wife, my older son and his wife, and my younger son and a special friend of his. It is fair to say that we were all touched by the event.

We share your patriotism and love of country. Thank you for your service and dedication.

MARATHON: A great experience

I participated in my first Coeur d'Alene Marathon last weekend. I just wanted to take a minute and thank all of the organizers and the volunteers. The course was very well marked, and I received so much support from everyone involved. I just want to thank you all for such a great experience.
