Motorcyclist injured on Interstate 90

POST FALLS - A 62-year-old Spokane man who was driving a motorcycle westbound on Interstate 90 near the state line on Tuesday afternoon was taken to the hospital after he collided with a traffic sign support.

Kenneth E. Flaming was in critical condition at Kootenai Medical Center late Tuesday night.

According to Idaho State Police, Flaming was on a 2002 Harley Davidson at 3:25 p.m. near mile post 2 when, for an unknown reason, he drove from the right lane of travel across the left lane and into the median divider.

Flaming collided with the sign support and the motorcycle overturned.

It is unknown if he was wearing a helmet or alcohol was involved.

An investigation continues.
