| June 9, 2010 4:55 AM

Brandon Lee Doney, 25 years young, passed from this earthly world into the next world of hope and wonder on June 5, 2010. He was born in Moscow on April 12, 1985, to Cathy Tenwick (Coeur d’Alene) and Don Doney (Spokane).

Brandon attended Coeur d’Alene High School and was a member of the jazz band; he had the gift of music and played the bass saxophone, cello and piano.

Brandon will be remembered for his kind heart, gentle soul, contagious laugh and his deep sense of spirituality. He also loved anything with wheels and a motor, the outdoors and was always ready for an adventure. Brandon had a genuine passion for his family and friends.

Brandon is survived by his mom, Cathy; his dad and stepmom, Don and Renni; sisters Heather, Kylie and Victoria; brother Justin; grandparents Gerrie and Don, Don and Ellie; aunts Cindy and Deana; cousins Loren, Isak, Mike, Dave and Michelle; and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Cay Tenwick and grandmother Maxine Brannan.

Though we miss him now, we bless him on his journey and look forward to our own ultimate reunion with him and those who have passed before us. May the gentle winds lift his spirit, may the sun shine warmly upon his soul and may our precious memories of Brandon sustain us through this difficult time. Shine on Brandon, shine on.

A gathering to celebrate Brandon’s life will be held at at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 13, 2010, at the Elks Lodge on Prairie Avenue.
