SWASTIKA: No place in the USA

| June 1, 2010 6:13 AM

I was on Sherman Avenue on Memorial Day and as I came to 20th and Sherman what did I see? A swastika. A swastika FLAG!! Flying on a house in my country, in my town on Memorial Day! I’ve never been so angry, disappointed and disgusted with this Aryan crap as I am now. It’s bad enough to have them trying to come back here and start a headquarters, but to have the gaul to hang that in public on Memorial Day? They’re spitting on our very existence, and as I passed they stared me down and smirked.

I can barely find words to explain my anger. The worst of it is, there’s nothing I (or anyone it seems) can legally do about it! If I go rip it down I get arrested and then I’m the criminal. I’m sorry but it infuriates me that these lowlifes can keep getting away with this disrespect of our nation. A swastika has NO PLACE IN THIS COUNTRY, ANYWHERE! Especially on Memorial Day!

What can we do? I’m sick of it. I come from a long line of veterans including a retired 3-star General in the USMC, retired sarge from the 82nd Airborne’ both did two tours in Vietnam and a brother who did 6 years in the USAF. Our laws allow these lowlifes to fly their colors. What about ours? Why do I have to tolerate a swastika after putting flowers on my mother’s grave? Answer me that.
