ACTIVE: Churches improve our place

As I sat in the lovely garden at Coeur d'Alene Homes Thursday evening, listening to the music and chatter around me, smelling the flowers and waiting for the butterflies to be released, I inventoried what I personally know the churches of Coeur d'Alene support in this community: the Homes, the daily meals for walk-ins, meals at Project Safe Place and overnight stays for homeless families. I know that is just the tip of the iceberg of what goes on around here. Kudos to the Christian community. You are alive and well in Coeur d'Alene.
