Officials say INL blaze is controlled

BOISE (AP) - Officials say the wildfire that ignited last week and charred 170-square-miles at the Idaho National Laboratory is extinguished.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined and it may take investigators several more weeks to draw conclusions. Officials said they believed the fire was human caused.

INL officials say all employees reported back to work Monday and all but two buildings that lost power during last week's fire now have power.

A fire declared controlled means it's been fully extinguished or the fire lines strengthened to keep flare-ups within the perimeter.
