IDAHO: Keep your state great

I recently visited the beautiful city of Coeur d’Alene. I read an article that characterized Idaho as a red state whose people are dumb and illiterate. I grew up in California and experienced liberalism firsthand. I felt I must respond.

Whenever I visit this area I see the difference in the people. By Idahoans staying with conservative American values, they have created an advanced society. California, on the other hand, is on the decline; I’ve experienced it daily. Illiteracy is widespread, crime and prejudice rampant and incivility, disrespect, and sloppiness are the norm. Californians experience a continuous decay of the American culture — pride in American traditions, patriotism, and heritage are increasingly being displaced as the American culture is being re-defined. 

In Idaho the American spirit is vibrant. There are some who picture California as idyllic. Beneath that veneer is the lie of liberalism, destroying the American culture.  Liberals created the problems by supporting liberal policies, putting California on the decline. In Idaho I find a quality of life that I want to help preserve — not change.

Creeping liberalism will ultimately undo any society it wraps its tentacles around.  Don’t lose the quality of life you have — if you don’t stay diligent it will happen.

Don’t be fooled by those who are drawn to your conservative way of life and then dig in to change you from your “backwards ways.”  For you who want to change Coeur d’Alene, try California first.  The liberals have already done all the work for you!
