IRONMAN: Story behind the story

My husband Luke Shepherd was noted in the end of a Press article for having the longest transition time.  We all thought it was funny that he made the local paper like that, but I also felt it may be nice to know why. 

He trained with two friends and they all planned to finish the race together so agreed to wait for each other at transitions. Each of them had different strengths so their times did vary a bit on each event. His fastest time ended up being the swim so that made him wait 38 minutes for the other two.
