SANDPOINT - Junior Hunter Arno came off the bench and scored 17 points as the Lakeland Hawks won at Sandpoint for the second time in five days, this time 64-62 in a loser-out game of the 4A Region 1 tournament Saturday night at Les Rogers Court.

Joel Underdahl had 18 points and five rebounds for Lakeland (14-9), which will play at Moscow (15-6) in the regional title game on Tuesday, needing to beat the Bears twice to advance to state.

Stefan Buratto had 31 points and five rebounds for Sandpoint (6-16), and Skyler Tucker added 17 points and three steals.

LEWISTON - Kamiah (15-5) closed the first half on a 10-0 run to take a 10-point halftime lead in the second round of the 2A District 1-2 tournament at Booth Hall.

Bob Schrack had 17 points and 10 rebounds for Coeur d'Alene Charter (13-9), which plays Grangeville (5-15) on Tuesday at Booth Hall in a loser-out game.

PRIEST RIVER - Jake Weimer had 18 points, five rebounds and two blocked shots on senior night for the Spartans (17-3, 8-0 Intermountain League). Eric Holbrook had seven points, six rebounds and four assists and senior Chad Yount grabbed 12 rebounds for Priest River.

Priest River enters the 3A District 1-2 tournament at Lakeland High School as the No. 1 seed, playing on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. vs. the 4-5 winner. St. Maries (10-7, 4-4) is the No. 2 seed and will play Wednesday at 6 p.m. vs. the winner of the 3-6 game.

Both teams begin play Tuesday at the 3A District 1-2 tournament at Lakeland High in Rathdrum.
