Woman stabbed, son arrested

A Coeur d'Alene woman whose name was not released was stabbed early this morning, a police press release said.

Richard Dominguez, 34, was taken into custody around 7 a.m. after officers responded to the 900 block of North Eighth Street. The victim said her son stabbed her with a knife in the upper back area.

Dominguez has been charged with aggravated battery, the police report said. The victim was treated for minor injuries at Kootenai Health and was then released.
