Dwight Lewis scored 16 of his 22 points in the first half, Mike Gerrity added six key points in the closing minutes and Southern California (16-9, 8-5 Pac-10) held off a furious rally by Washington (17-9, 7-7) in the final 10 minutes for a 67-64 win on Thursday night in Seattle.

Oregon State 80, California 64: At Corvallis, Ore., Roeland Schaftenaar tied a season high with 22 points to lead Oregon State (12-13, 6-7) past Pac-10 leader California (17-9, 9-5).

Stanford 72, Oregon 65: At Eugene, Landry Fields scored 21 points, Jeremy Green added 18 and Stanford (12-14, 6-8 Pac-10) won on the road for the first this year, beating the Ducks (12-13, 4-9).

WEST COAST

Saint Mary's 61, San Diego 49: Ben Allen scored 16 points and Omar Samhan had a double-double as Saint Mary's (22-5, 9-3 West Coast Conference) snapped a two-game losing streak with a victory at San Diego (9-19, 2-10).

Portland 83, Pepper-dine 62: at Malibu, Calif., Jared Stohl and T.J. Campbell each scored 18 points and Portland (17-8, 8-3 WCC) beat Pepperdine. Keion Bell scored 23 points to lead the Waves (7-20, 3-8), who lost their eighth in a row.

No. 5 Syracuse 75, No. 10 Georgetown 71: at Washington, D.C., Andy Rautins scored a season-high 26 points, and No. 5 Syracuse (25-2, 12-2 Big East) blew most of a 23-point lead before beating No. 10 Georgetown (18-7, 8-6).

Minnesota 68, No. 14 Wisconsin 52: At Minneapolis, Blake Hoffarber had 16 points and nine rebounds to lead Minnesota (15-10, 6-7) over No. 14 Wisconsin (19-7, 9-5).

No. 17 Vanderbilt 82, Mississippi 78: At Oxford, Miss., A.J. Ogilvy scored 27 points and made all eight free throw attempts in the final 4 minutes for Vanderbilt (20-5, 9-2 Southeastern Conference). Chris Warren had 23 points for Mississippi (17-8, 5-6).

No. 19 Pittsburgh 58, Marquette 51: At Milwaukee, Gary McGhee had 10 points and six blocked shots to lead No. 19 Pittsburgh (20-6, 9-4 Big East) over Marquette (16-9, 7-6).
