Vandal boosters meet

Thursday at Resort

COEUR d'ALENE - The North Idaho Chapter of the University of Idaho Vandal Boosters will meet on Thursday from 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Shore Lounge at The Coeur d'Alene Resort.

A no-host lunch will be available and the public is invited to attend.

WSU adds assistant

football coach

PULLMAN - Dave Ungerer has been named special teams/running backs coach at Washington State, head coach Paul Wulff announced.

Ungerer comes to Pullman after working the past year at Elon College in North Carolina.

In 2007-08 Ungerer worked as the special teams coach at Oregon State. Prior to that, Ungerer spent four seasons at Alabama as the special teams and tight ends coach, working alongside WSU's current assistant head coach/co-defensive coordinator Chris Ball.
