Two Rathdrum girls, ages 10 and 13, suffered injuries in a one-vehicle rollover accident in Latah County on Friday afternoon, the Idaho State Police said.
Nichole Hindberg, 10, and Amanda Hindberg, 13, were treated and released from Gritman Medical Center in Moscow, a nursing supervisor said Saturday.
Leroy Decker, 67, of Kootenai, was northbound on state route 99 when he fell asleep and drifted off the right shoulder of the road, the ISP said. The vehicle went through a fence and to a creek bottom, where the vehicle rolled once.
Decker was cited for inattentive driving, police said.
Decker and 62-year-old Janie Decker, also of Kootenai, were also injured, police said.
