Presentation to focus on Muslims, Islam

The North Idaho Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will present Saleh Elgiadi at the Harding Center, 15th and Wallace in Coeur d'Alene, at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

Elgiadi, the education and outreach coordinator to the Muslim community at the Spokane Islamic Center, will speak about Muslims and Islam including what is Islam and who are Muslims, especially Muslims in America.

On Feb. 28, Elgiadi will continue with a discussion about stereotypes and misconceptions about Muslims and Islam.

Saleh Elgiadi is a longtime resident of Spokane, married with four children. He frequently presents about various topics relating to Islam and Muslims at area universities and schools. Elgiadi is active in community projects relating to helping the needy and less fortunate.

The public is welcome. Childcare is available. Coffee and refreshments are offered after the service.
