Gonzalez is fugitive of week

North Idaho Violent Crimes Task is seeking information leading to the arrest of Salvador Gonzalez for a probation violation related to possession of a controlled substance.

Gonzalez, 28, is the fugitive of the week.

He is described as 5 feet, 6 inches tall, 125 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes. His last known addresses were in Post Falls and Sunnyside, Wash.

He may be driving a green 1997 Ford Expedition.

Gonzalez is currently wanted for a probation violation that stemmed from a Post Falls Police Department arrest in March 2009 for possession of a controlled substance. He had nine baggies of methamphetamine stuffed in his sock. Gonzalez was with a Dashia M. Madrigal, 21, who gave a false name and is currently at the Kootenai County jail on a probation violation.

Gonzalez was arrested on June 23, 2008, by Grandview Police Department for a drive by shooting, possession of a firearm, resisting arrest, possession of Marijuana and failure to obey an officer.

Sunnyside Police Department had him in their facility from Dec. 24, 2009, to Jan. 5, 2010, on a misdemeanor warrant.
