Hundreds of Girl Scouts and their families from Kootenai County will be celebrating the annual World Thinking Day from 10-11:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 20 at Post Falls High School.
Twenty-six troops will have booths set up representing 26 countries where Girl Scouts or Girl Guides are active. There will be food or beverages to taste for 10 cents each, at each booth.
Proceeds will go to local food banks and to the UN World Program for Haiti Relief.
The theme is girls worldwide saying "together we can end extreme poverty and hunger."
