| February 5, 2010 8:00 PM

POST FALLS - A "Shooting for Success Challenge" fundraiser to benefit the new Post Falls Chamber of Commerce building will be held on Friday, Feb. 26, at Center Target Sports, 3295 E. Mullan Ave.

Tickets - $25 per person or $100 for a group of five - are being sold at Center Target Sports, the chamber or at www.postfallschamber.com.

A limit of 100 tickets will be sold. Food and beverages will be provided by Cabela's White Pines Cafe. There will be more than $2,000 in cash and prizes.

There will be a shooting contest for a chance to win a home defense shotgun. Cost is $50 per shot or three shots for $100.

There will be a tile shoot for $300, which buys a personalized mural tile to be placed in the new chamber building. Entrants will shoot a tile for a prize and get a free shot in the shooting contest.

Those who purchase a tile will also get a Buck knife. Buck Knives CEO Chuck Buck will be available to sign the knives.

There will also be a raffle to win a $5,000 Cabela's gift card. Only 400 tickets, which cost $50 each, will be sold. The drawing will be held on April 15 at the chamber's Commerce and Community Fair at the Greyhound Park and Event Center. You do not need to be present to win.

Tickets can also be purchased at the chamber, Cabela's and Center Target Sports.

The fundraiser is sponsored by Buck Knives, Cabela's and Center Target Sports.

The chamber needs to raise about $30,000 to finish its facility next to City Hall. The anticipated move-in date is June 1.

Tax-deductible sponsorships remaining for the project include: pillars for $10,000 each, fence sponsorships for $5,000 each, patio pavers for $500 and mural tiles for $300.

The fundraiser was originally planned for a different date, but has changed to Feb. 26 due to other area events happening.
