ROCKFORD, Wash. - Lakeland's Neena Buchmann scored 19 points and had seven rebounds as the Lakeland Hawks defeated the St. Maries Lumberjacks 50-38 in the consolation game of the Freeman tournament Wednesday.

"We were able to jump out to a big lead early on," Lakeland coach Steve Seymour said. "Our press created a lot of turnovers, but we let down a little bit in the third quarter. It was a good win for us, but maybe not our best effort in the second half. Neena played really well for us."
