Danny W. Vanderhoff, 81

Danny W. Vanderhoff, 81, passed away at Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d'Alene on Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010.

Danny was born in Spokane, Wash., Sept. 16, 1929, to George and Sylvia (Olsen) Vanderhoff. He was raised on Metaline Falls, Wash., and led a fun filled hardworking life.

He enjoyed riding his bicycle and hiking. In the past year he walked Mineral Ridge 15 times. He also enjoyed watching the Bill O'Reilly Show.

He is survived by his children: Melody, Margie, Melinda, Mari and Mark; Grandchildren: Travis, Daniele, Corbin and Taylor; four great-grandchildren; Sisters: Pauline, Dolly and Yvonne.

Danny is preceded in death by his brother, Raymond.

Memorials may be made to North Idaho College Foundation, 1000 West Garden Ave., Coeur d'Alene, ID 83814.

A private memorial service will be held. English Funeral Chapel, Coeur d'Alene, is in charge of the arrangements.
