THUMP: Bumper, feelings damaged

I wanted to add an addendum to Amy Kerns' letter in last Sunday's paper. Someone hit my mother's car while we were in the store a few weeks ago and knocked the bumper off, but instead of leaving a note with their info on it they were "nice" enough to duct tape it back up! It seems to me it would've taken less effort to just leave the note.

And just like in Ms. Kerns' story we also do not have the finances available to get it fixed. I recently moved here from CA to take care of my mother as she was widowed on Christmas day a couple years ago so this just adds to her misery. I thought Idahoans were a classier lot but I'm not convinced of this just yet.
