Dennis "Denny" Black, 45

Dennis "Denny" A. Black, age 45, resident of Hauser Lake, died Dec. 21, 2010, at his home. He was born on Nov. 23, 1965, in Spokane, to Merle and Sharon (Cooper) Black. Denny lived most of his life in this area. He was employed as an electrician in Seattle for three years prior to returning to the area. While here, he was a machinist, working for Remtech and then at Odenthal Manufacturing, both in Dalton Gardens. His daughters were the love of his life. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing and mountain climbing.

Denny is survived by his wife, Jacqui Sutton; daughters Shani and Kelli Black at home; his stepdaughter, Alayne, and her husband, Brian, and their daughter, Sarah Schneider, Denny's first and only grandchild, of Post Falls; father and stepmother, Merle and Sandy Black, of Post Falls; mother Sharon Black, of Auburn; sister Wendy Decicio, of Auburn; niece Chelsea Decicio and nephew, Christian Decicio, of Auburn; stepbrothers Patrick Braden, of Coeur d'Alene, and Alan Braden, of Boise, ID; numerous nieces and nephews, and last but not least his dog, Bells.

A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 27, 2010, at English Funeral Chapel, 1700 N. Spokane St., Post Falls, with a funeral service to follow at 2 pm.
