Firefighters to escort Santa through Cd'A

Santa Claus is coming to Coeur d'Alene. He won't have his reindeer, but he will have a sleigh - a large, red, fire truck.

Santa and members of the Coeur d'Alene Firefighters Local 710 will be around town every evening this week collecting food and cash donations for the food bank.

Their schedule from 4:30-8:30 p.m.:

Tonight - East of U.S. 95, north of Appleway Avenue.

Wednesday - West of U.S. 95, north of Appleway Avenue and south of Dalton Avenue.

Thursday - West of U.S. 95, north of Dalton Avenue and south of Prairie.

"When you see flashing red lights and hear Christmas music come out and donate a can of food, let the kids say hello to Santa and the firefighters and get a candy cane or other surprises from Santa," according to a press release.
