Allen Harry Taylor Sr., 51

Allen Harry Taylor Sr., 51, passed away Dec. 18, 2010, at Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d'Alene. He was born Sept. 19, 1959, in Trenton, N.J., to Arthur and Elizabeth Taylor.

Allen served in the U.S Navy and was proud that he was able to serve his country. He also worked as a medalist engineer.

He was married to Barbara (Bobbie) Taylor and they were together for more than 30 years. They shared their lives with three step-children and added three more children. Allen was also a grandfather to nine grandchildren with one more on the way. His pleasures in life were his music, tinkering around the house and his wife.

He leaves behind his wife, Barbara Taylor of Coeur d'Alene; stepson Heath of Bountiful, Utah; stepson Patrick of Coeur d'Alene; stepdaughter Megan and her husband Bryce of Anchorage, Alaska; daughter Jessica of Coeur d'Alene; daughter Amanda and her husband Jameson of Hayden; and son Allen Jr. and his wife Sara of Coeur d'Alene. Allen also leaves behind his parents, sisters and many other loved ones. He loved his family and was proud of all his children and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building at 2801 Fourth St., Coeur d'Alene.
