Trojans adjust lineup, beat Bonners, Timberlake
SPIRIT LAKE - Post Falls switched up the lineup to come away with a pair of nonleague wins against Bonners Ferry and Timberlake on Tuesday at Timberlake High.
Joe Hartley (285), Shane Crill (112), Tanner Riekenaw (125), Chadd Webster (130), Steven Ost (135), Tyler Booth (140), Nathan McLeod (152), Kendall Nuss (160), Cole Jesenouski (171) and Cody Johnson (189) won by pin for Post Falls in the opening match.
"Our kids came off a pretty good weekend," Post Falls assistant coach Dave Herndon said. "We had a couple different kids in the varsity lineup due to some injuries and they stepped up and did a great job tonight."
Rocco Wingfield won by forfeit at 103 pounds for the Tigers' lone win in the dual with Post Falls.
Timberlake, which lost 45-28 to Bonners Ferry in its other dual, hosts Wallace tonight.
Post Falls and Timberlake compete at the Tri-State tournament Friday at North Idaho College.
