James D. Wood, 57

James D. Wood succumbed to cancer on Dec. 3, 2010, in Boise. He was born on Oct. 12, 1953, in Albany, Ore., and lived mostly in the Coeur d'Alene area since 1982.

He worked as a cabinet maker. James loved the outdoors and enjoyed it in many ways. He was also fond of NASCAR and pool.

He is survived by his father, Floyd Wood; a brother, Dennis Wood; two daughters, Jaine Marie Wood and Jody MacKubbin; two sons, Scott and Rory; three grandchildren and half-siblings Brent Wood, Lesley Tucker and Mary Wood.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Wood.
