Lenoir L. Anderson

Lenoir Louise Hitchcock was born Dec. 17, 1922, to Frank and Emma in Ortonville, Mich.

She married Clarence (Andy) Anderson on June 3, 1941. They moved to California with their two children in 1945.

They moved many times and settled in Escondido, Calif., where they lived for 24 years. Lenoir taught electronics to underprivileged men and women for 17 years. She retired when they moved to Anderson, Calif., where she lived for 18 years. She volunteered at many nursing homes.

In July 2000 they moved to Coeur d'Alene, to be near her daughter and grandchildren. They resided in Loyalton, then Life Care Center.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, two sisters and three brothers.

She is survived by her children, Ruth Ann and Roger; brother Frank and sister Harriett. She was grandmother to six, great-grandmother to seven and great-great-grandmother to three.

She received excellent and compassionate care at Life Care Center. A small memorial will be held at Life Care at a later date.

She was truly loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
