| December 2, 2010 8:00 PM

POST FALLS - Junior Malcolm Colbert had 27 points and six assists as the Post Falls Trojans defeated the Shadle Park Highlanders 82-66 in the nonleague opener for both schools on Wednesday at The Arena.

"I was very pleased with our second half execution," Post Falls coach Mike McLean said. "In the first half, we came out a little amped up and missed eight layups we should have made. Marcus did a great job of running the show tonight. Connor (Hill) had a quiet 19 points and I was pleased with how Luke Thoreson played against Brett Boese and the way Michael Hillman rebounded for us."

Hillman finished with 12 rebounds for Post Falls, which host Mead on Wednesday.

Boese scored 21 points for Shadle Park.
