Stewart, a freshman setter from Coeur d'Alene High, was named to the Frontier Conference All-Freshman team after finishing the season with 529 assists for the Fighting Saints. Carroll lost in the Frontier Conference tournament championship match to Lewis-Clark State College on Nov. 14 in Lewiston to finish the season 22-10.

Poorboy, a sophomore from Coeur d'Alene High, received All-Northwest Conference team honors as an honorable mention for the 6-11-2 Missionaries. Poorboy had two game-winning goals during the season in a 3-2 win over Pacific Lutheran and a 1-0 win against George Fox.

Bartlett, a senior from Lakeland High in Rathdrum, was named to the Frontier Conference first team all-conference offense for the Fighting Saints (12-0), who face Saint Xavier, University (13-0) of Illinois on Saturday in the NAIA semifinals in Helena, Mont.

Christian Hanna

Linfield football

Hanna, a junior from Lake City High, intercepted fourth-ranked St. Thomas quarterback Dakota Tracy in Saturday's Division III playoff game and returned the ball 55 yards to set up the eighth-ranked Wildcats first score in a 24-17 loss which ended Linfield's season a 9-2.

Jordan Smith

Eastern Oregon football

Smith, a senior from Coeur d'Alene High, was named to the NAIA Frontier Conference second-team offense. Eastern Oregon finished the season 5-6.

Baker, a sophomore from Coeur d'Alene, had 23 points and 11 rebounds for the Grizzlies (2-4) in a 76-69 loss to James Madison at the Carribean Challenge on Friday in Cancun, Mexico.

Shawn Reid

Montana State basketball

Reid, a freshman from Post Falls High, scored 23 points for the Bobcats (5-3) in a nonconference loss to Seattle University on Monday at KeyArena.

Ryan Booth

Eastern Oregon cross country

Booth, a redshirt sophomore from Post Falls, was named a Daktronics NAIA Scholar Athlete on Nov. 19. In order to be nominated, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify.
