Car, boat show set in Harrison

HARRISON - Classic cars will fill the streets of downtown Harrison once again on Sept. 12 for the 12th annual Haul Ass to Harrison Show 'n' Shine.

In conjunction with the show, Paul Hoskinson of Lakeview Lodge is introducing the Classical Glass Boat Show this year at the Harrison waterfront on Saturday, Sept. 11.

There is no fee or age limit and a trophy will be awarded for People's Choice.

"Anyone who thinks they have a classic fiberglass boat they'd like to show off is welcome to bring it down," Hoskinson said.

Also in the park Sunday, the annual chili cook-off, giveaways, cash prizes, and live music by rock and blues band, "Rampage" with Robb Boatsman.
