Athol man killed in motorcycle crash

A 36-year-old Athol man was killed riding his motorcycle Saturday night on U.S. 95 at Homestead Road near Athol.

Mason L. Justin was traveling northbound on his 1991 Harley Davidson bike when for an unknown reason he crossed both southbound lanes and went off the west side of the roadway, according to the Idaho State Police.

The motorcycle ejected Justin, who was not wearing a helmet. He died at the scene, state police said. The accident occurred about 7:30 p.m.

The crash is still being investigated, state police said.
