Indians edge Hawks

SPOKANE - Andrew Clark went 2 for 3 with a run scored as the Spokane Indians defeated the Boise Hawks (11-19) 3-2 in front of 4,997 at Avista Stadium in Northwest League baseball action Saturday night.

Clark led off the second inning with a single for Spokane (17-13) and came around to score on an RBI ground out by Jurickson Profar. Santiago Chirino singled to bring in Joshua Richmond to give Spokane a 2-0 lead.

Randol Rojas allowed six hits over six innings to get the win.

The three-game series continues tonight at 6:30.
