Numerica reaches asset mark

Numerica Credit Union announced today that it reached $1 billion in assets.

A successful merger with School Employees Federal Credit Union of Richland, Wash., and positive growth in the first two quarters of 2010 helped put Numerica assets over the $1 billion mark.

Since its inception in 1937, Numerica has expanded into new markets and successfully managed numerous mergers with the intention of ensuring quality products and services are available to more communities.

Numerica Credit Union currently has more than 85,000 members throughout Central and Eastern Washington and North Idaho and more than $1 billion in assets. It offers a full line of financial products and services, including mortgages and business products. Membership is open to anyone who lives or works in the state of Washington or the Idaho Panhandle.

Hallin joins firm of Lukins & Annis

Jonathon Hallin has joined the Coeur d'Alene office of Lukins & Annis, P.S., as a new associate. Hallin earned his bachelor of science in civil engineering in 2002, and his J.D. in 2005, from the University of Idaho. Hallin's practice will focus in the area of business litigation, commercial law, and criminal defense.

Chamber to host appreciation day

The Coeur d'Alene Chamber of Commerce's annual membership appreciation day event will take place Sept. 9, from 4-7 p.m. at the chamber's building.

Chamber members are invited to enjoy food samples and beverages. There will also be music and massages.
