Indians pull closer in race for division title

YAKIMA, Wash. - Michael Olt went 3 for 4 with a double as the Spokane Indians defeated the Yakima Bears 3-2 in front of 3,139 at Yakima County Stadium on Friday night in Northwest League baseball action.
Ben Henry had four strikeouts through five innings to earn the win, moving Spokane two games behind the Bears for the East division lead with nine games to play.
Jurickson Profar went 2 for 4 with a double and run scored for Spokane (16-13), which opens a six-game series at 6:30 tonight with Boise at Avista Stadium.
Raywilly Gomez had an RBI single in the fourth for Yakima.
Corey Davisson allowed the go-ahead run in the sixth to take the loss for Yakima (18-11), which committed three errors.
