YAKIMA, Wash. - Raoul Torrez went 1 for 4 with three RBIs as the Yakima Bears defeated the Spokane Indians 6-4 on Wednesday in front of 1,542 at Yakima County Stadium in Northwest League action.
Andrew Clark's single drove in a pair to pull Spokane within 5-4 in the seventh.
Juan Grullon allowed four earned runs in four innings to take the loss for Spokane (14-13).
Corey Davisson got the win and Jake Hale pitched a scoreless ninth to get the save for Yakima (18-9).
The teams continue their three-game series tonight at 7.
