SCHOOL: Tough math for kindergarten

I'm writing in response to the letter about the Post Falls kindergarten schedule. I also find myself in a precarious situation with transportation. Our only vehicle was stolen Aug. 2. My anxiety is that I worry every night about how I am supposed to transport my kindergartner one way to school every day and so soon. I have another child who is supposed to start Head Start this fall as well, which also requires transportation. I signed up for afternoons so that I could streamline travel for both kiddos. What in the world am I to do?

CityLink will not suffice as the travel time will be so draining on my little ones. How in my situation does the school recommend I get my child there, with only one way transportation? I cannot understand this. I attended kindergarten all day when I was little. Didn't everyone? And at the very least they should provide travel BOTH ways.

I urge all of you who agree to please contact the school board and voice an opinion.
