CHIPPERS: It's assault, not child-play

| August 25, 2010 9:00 PM

Help me to understand your reasons for flinging potato chips at me as you drove by me riding my bicycle home from work. I was one block from home. Is it because I was a bicycle on the road? Do you think I don't have a right to be on the road? Do you think I should be on the sidewalk? Do you know why I ride a bike?

Do you know that if those potato chips would have gotten in my eyes and caused me to crash, that I would be in my legal rights to charge you with assault? Do you know that even throwing those chips at me constitutes assault?

Know this: Next time it happens I am going to write down your license plate number and report it.
