Dinner Under the Stars is Saturday

COEUR d'ALENE - Shared Harvest Community Garden is putting on its Dinner Under the Stars event Saturday night, with proceeds going back to the garden.

The bounty from the garden at 10th Street and Foster Avenue is donated to 17 different food assistance facilities.

The dinner will be from 7-9 p.m. at the garden and tickets are $25 per person (kids are free). The goal is to sell 250 tickets, and they are available at Art Spirit Gallery and Java on Sherman.

There will be a silent auction from 6-8 p.m. There will be a chef on site and live music by Cool Streams Band, The Blackwater Savants, Dave Stasney, and Lex Levy.

The garden is still looking for donations from area gardeners. Every Wednesday night there is a drop off between 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.
