Indians completes comeback, beats Ems

SPOKANE - Eugene right fielder Wesley Cunnningham commited an error on Brett Nicholas' drive in the bottom of the ninth, allowing Clark Murphy to score the winning run from third base during the Spokane Indians' four-run inning to beat the Emeralds 7-6 in Northwest League play before 4,292 at Avista Stadium on Sunday night.

Ryan Strausborger scored on a groundout for the Indians' first run in the ninth. After an intentional walk, Santiago Chirino singled to score two more Spokane runs before Nicholas came to bat.

Spokane (13-11) hosts Eugene (12-12) again as the teams continue their five-game series tonight at 6:35 at Avista Stadium.
