Boy's motorcycle stolen
A Coeur d'Alene man had to break some tough news this week after a family member's motorcycle was stolen out of the back of his station wagon on Wednesday night.
Travis Loper said the motorcycle belonged to his nephew, Gunnar Moffett, who turned 4 years old on Thursday.
"He learned to ride it with no training wheels within two weeks of having it," Loper said, adding that Moffett had been given the motorcycle about 6 months ago.
Moffett's father bought the child-sized red and white 2005 CRF50 for about $1,000, Loper said.
The station wagon had been parked on West Edgewood Circle in Coeur d'Alene.
The vehicle had been unlocked, he said.
The family has filed a police report and Loper asked anyone with information to contact the Coeur d'Alene Police.
