| August 19, 2010 6:23 AM

It's approved.

Lake City Development Corp. adopted its fiscal year 2011 budget Wednesday.

Overall, the urban renewal agency is anticipating a $5.4 million budget, with roughly $2 million of its expected expenditures geared to go to

capital enhancements for a possible reconstruction project of McEuen

Field and improvements to portions of the education corridor near the

North Idaho College campus.

It's also expecting to collect $4.5 million in tax increment revenues,

down from the roughly $5.1 million in 2010, and $4.9 million in 2009.

And the board will post its new public records guidelines on its Web

page later this afternoon. The tab should make it easier by posting

instructions for anyone looking to obtain public records from the

agency. - Tom Hasslinger
